Implementation of a street lighting project with GlobiLED luminaires and the LIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(LMS)

The project involved the replacement of the High Pressure Sodium Luminaires, 150 watt+ballast(180Watt) with Smart GlobiLED luminaires of 70 watt. The GlobiLED luminaires include a wireless interface zigbee which via a wireless Management Node, referred to as GlobiNODE(GN), had access to the Light Management Software(LMS) installed at the Municipality premises. The LMS has the ability to give commands for turning on and off the luminaires automatically, as well as, control the proper lightness level depending on the outdoor lightness conditions.
